Features & construction

Triax Fiberglass

Triaxial fiberglass laminate made with a triple-layer, multi-axis construction that delivers a precise and powerful board feel with a mid-stiff torsional flex for supreme response in variable snow conditions.

BComp Carbon Flax Stringer

BComp Carbon / Flax stringers offer the perfect performance balance as the carbon provides crazy pop and the flax sucks up chatter and reduces CO₂ emissions compared to a full carbon stringer. Developed in collaboration with the Swiss engineering firm BComp.

Premium Topsheet

Durable and scratch resistant premium topsheet engineered to endure rigorous daily use in extreme conditions.

Sintered 8000 Base

Premium sintered base material that’s ultra fast, highly wax absorbent, easy to repair and proven to be one of the most durable and long lasting base materials in the industry

Bio Resin

A bio-based epoxy made with 27% plant-based carbon that reduces CO₂ emissions by 33% compared to conventional petroleum-based epoxy. Sourced from plant-based industrial by-products, its unmatched bonding properties deliver industry leading durability and performance.

Recycled ABS

Recycled ABS sidewalls with a rounded finish that are engineered to enhance durability by reducing topsheet chipping and impact damage.

Recycled edges

Bombproof steel edges made from recycled German steel, engineered for maximum strength and long-lasting durability.

Wend Natural Wax

All Jones snowboards come factory waxed with WEND natural wax so they’re ready to shred straight out of the shop.

Power Core

Advanced triple-density full wood core made from responsibly harvested Bamboo, Paulownia and Poplar. Centered Bamboo stringers enhance durability, pop and torsional stiffness, while the Paulownia keeps the core light and damp.

Behind the art

The Signature Series artwork was created in collaboration with Jonas Fahnestock, Harry’s lifelong friend and Antwerp-based artist at Brabo's Hand tattoo shop. Growing up together in Norwood, Colorado, they spent their days skateboarding, snowboarding and sharing the art and music that inspired them both.

Those influences translate directly into the design. The scene of Paradox Valley depicts where mountains meet the desert outside Norwood. His van, home to countless road trips with the Lodge Boys, flies across the landscape, while Lone Cone – one of Harry's favorite peaks – forms the backdrop of the board.

Jonas is an incredible artist and such a dear friend. Having him do the artwork on the Stratos was a no-brainer. The whole thing – every little piece of it – is pretty symbolic to me.

A race-tuned daily driver

The Stratos has been the backbone of the Jones all-mountain freeride line since its introduction over five years ago. It floats in deep powder, carves on hardpack and excels across all terrain and conditions.

That versatility is exactly why Harry rides it as his daily driver – and why it was the board he opted for on his way to victory at Mount Baker.

With the opportunity to build on the original, Harry tested numerous prototypes before landing on what he'd been chasing: a board that maintained the all-mountain freeride performance of the Stratos, while sharpening its race-day edge.

Increased turn power

By keeping the nose rocker but extending the camber all the way to the tail of the board, Harry’s Signature Stratos retains the float of the original while dialing up the grip and power under the back foot for launching out of turns.

Locked-in stability

Upgrading from the original Stratos’ biax laminates to more torsionally responsive triax fiberglass increases underfoot stability, reduces high-speed vibrations and transmits power to the edges instantly.

Ultra-fast glide

Replacing die-cut graphics with an all-black P-Tex base in the contact area optimizes the board for charging hard in all conditions, delivering faster acceleration and higher top-end speeds.

Banking gold

Harry grew up chasing skiers through Telluride’s rugged terrain and competing on the junior circuit – from pipe and slopestyle to racing gates. He soon honed the craft of riding fast on his edges, in terrain that demanded instinctive board feel and precision.

That technical foundation found its calling at Mount Baker, where deeper snowpack, steeper lines and snowboarding’s most infamous banked slalom event became the proving grounds for his full-commitment approach to riding.

Four victories later, and Harry’s name is etched into snowboarding history alongside some of the sport’s most iconic riders.

I was conditioned when I was younger never to side slip. It was all about intentional turns and not slipping around much. All of that made me really like to ride fast.
