Ideal for all-seasons, all-conditions backcountry touring

Nomad Pro Trim-To-Fit By Size Skins with Quick Tension Tail Clips are high performance skins that excel in any snow condition. The skin fibers are 70% Mohair / 30% Synthetic Nylon and treated with GLIDE TECH which helps maintain skin glide. These skins come in three sizes and have Quick Tension Tail Clips already attached. They must be trimmed to the width of your Jones splitboard.

Features

Glide Tech

Glide Tech coating reduces friction on each skin fiber so neither super-cold fresh snow or wet, hot snow will stick to the skin and rob energy-saving glide.

Rubber safer skins

Jones skins are laminated with a rubber backing that prevents skins from getting waterlogged. Drier skins are safer as they are less likely to lose adhesion to your skis in critical situations.

Ever dry (bluesign® approved)

Jones skins are treated with Ever Dry anti-glopping treatment. The coating keeps the skins from absorbing moisture and prevents snow/ice build-up under the skin.

Grip tech

Grip Tech skins are made with a special material that works well under dynamic tension and has a high resistance to twisting and abrasion.

70 % Mohair / 30% nylon

Jones Nomad and Nomad Pro climbing skins are both made with a blend of 70% mulesing free natural mohair fiber and 30% synthetic nylon. The mohair offers unmatched glide and a supple skin feel while the nylon improves grip and water repellency.

Universal tip clip

The Universal Tip Clip securely fastens the skin to the tip of the split ski. It is compatible with any board shape and all splitboard brands.

Quick Tension tail clip

Jones splitboards have a notch cut into the tail of both skis that allows the Quick Tension Tail Clip to simply slide into the notch and secure the skin. The Quick Tension Tail Clip comes attached to the skin and only requires a simple one-time fit adjustment.

Best for DIY on Jones splitboards

Trim-To-Fit By Size Skins feature the Universal Tip Connector and both the Quick Tension Tail Clip and Universal Tail Clip. Both clips are easily swappable. Jones Trim-To-Fit By Size Skins have different length options and only need to be trimmed to width.

Best for Jones splitboards

Pre-Cut Skins feature the Universal Tip Connector and Quick Tension Tail Clip. The Quick Tension Tail Clip is designed to fit all 2017 and newer Jones Splitboards (except Youth Solution).

Pre-Cut Skins do not need to be trimmed.

The Quick Tension Tail Clip comes attached to the skin and only requires a simple one-time fit adjustment.

Best for DYI on Jones splitboards and non-Jones splitboards

New Jones 22/23 Trim-To-Fit By Size Skins feature the Universal Tip Connector and both the Quick Tension Tail Clip and Universal Tail Clip. Both clips are easily swappable. The Quick Tension Tail Clip is designed to fit all 2017 and newer Jones Splitboards (except Youth Solution).

Trim-To-Fit By Size Skins need to be trimmed.

The Quick Tension Tail Clip comes attached to the skin and only requires a simple one-time fit adjustment.

Best for non-Jones splitboards

These skins feature the Universal Tip Connector and Universal Tail Clip. The Universal Tip Connector and Universal Tail Clip fit most international splitboard brands and models.

 

The Universal Tail Clip does NOT come attached to the skins. The customer/shop will need to trim the skins and attach the rivets on the Universal Tail Clip.
